She believes that reading gives us many lives that we lead through the eyes and experiences of other people. On the other hand, writing spreads a spirit and a scent that others can smell, so that they feel what we experience, enjoy dreams like ours, and light up as we do.

Ruba Younis, accompanied by a pen and a camera, joined DIPW's short story workshop in 2018. Her collection of stories, titled Al-Nida' al-Akhir (The Last Call), was published through DIPW in cooperation with Qindeel Printing, Publishing, and Distribution.
