Awards:

• 2011 - Award from the Emirates Festival for Literature’s short story competition in Arabic for securing second place. The story was published in a collection along with other participating literary pieces
• 2011 - Award from H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, (Minister for Foreign Trade at the time), for academic excellence 
• 2009 - Award from H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, National Security Advisor (at the time), for academic excellence 

Biogaphy:

Since 2014, Razan has been working as a secretary to the Japanese ambassador to the UAE. Between 2013 and 2015, she worked as a freelancer with the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR): Publication: Aafaq Al-Mustaqbal Magazine. She also worked as a translator at the National Qualifications Authority (NQA) from 2012 to 2014, while she taught Arabic between 2007 and 2012.
