- Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Literary Translation at the University of Sharjah.
- Holder of a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Portsmouth, UK.
- Member of international literary societies, including the London Literary Society, the International German Society for Shakespeare Studies, and the British Literary Association at the University of Manchester.
- Member of the arbitration committees for the International Academic Writing Competition.
- Published many books, including: Sharjah .. Poetic Vision, Robert Browning's Legacy in Modern American Poetry, and Western Influence in Modern Arabic Poetry.
- Published more than 20 research papers in translation and comparative literature in poetry, playwriting, and novel.
- Participates continuously in the arbitration of research and doctoral theses for many Arab and foreign universities.
