Published many novels, most notably: Lughat al-Serr (The Language of Secrets), Ya Salam (How Wonderful!), Hafela min al-Nas al-Tayyebin (A Bus Full of Good People), Al-Musta'jir (The Tenant)
Some of her books have won awards and been translated into several languages.
