Assistant Professor of Educational Policy, Faculty of Education - Ain Shams University – Egypt

Dr. Ashraf Muharram Algarhi holds a PhD in “Education” from University of Bath, England. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Education Sciences, and a Diploma in "Adult Education" and "Fundamentals of Education" from Ain Shams University in Egypt.

Dr. Ashraf Algarhi is the director of the regional center for adult education at UNESCO in Sers al-Lyan which, a second category centers in Egypt, and deputy director of the Center for Integrated Education at Ain Shams University.

Dr. Ashraf has numerous contributions to education and been a vital part of developing several postgraduate courses in the field of adult education.

Dr. Ashraf Algarhi contributed to organizing many training programs interested in adult education and literacy issues in Egypt and the Arab region, in addition to his active participation in local, regional and international workshops.
