Aisha Al Rumaithi

Deputy Manager at DEWA Innovation Centre

Aisha Mohammed Rashid Al Rumaithi is an engineer who supports clean energy, sustainability, innovation, excellence, and investing in youth energies. Currently, she is Deputy Director at the Solar Energy Innovation Center, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and Chairman of DEWA’s Youth Council. She was a member of the Dubai Youth Council in the edition of 2018.

Aisha graduated from the University of Sharjah in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering, and a master’s from Rochester Institute of Technology in Professional Studies: Urban Science, achieving the highest honors in both.

She contributed to the realization of the Dubai Plan 2021 in terms of Place and Government by participating in reducing the carbon dioxide emissions index and increasing the green government buildings. Aisha was awarded the Dubai Medal for Young Employee at the Dubai Government Excellence Program Awards 2021.
