Dr. Ghada Makady
Director General of Partnership Programs and the “Shabab Balad” Initiative
Dr. Ghada Makady brings over 20 years of experience in international development, having worked with UNICEF and regional organizations across the Middle East, North Africa, and West Africa. Her expertise lies in youth empowerment and the development of strategic partnerships.
She holds a PhD in Communications with honors, a Master’s degree in International Business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication.
Dr. Makady has led impactful national initiatives, including the "Development of 100 Villages" program, which reached over 60,000 beneficiaries and supported empowerment activities for 25,000 women. She also serves as Vice President of the Egyptian Special Olympics and was recognized among Egypt’s 50 most influential women in both 2016 and 2021.
