Ambassador of Yemen to Morocco

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom of Morocco, having previously served as Minister of Human Rights and Minister in charge of the Ministry of Information. A Yemeni writer, diplomat, politician and human-rights activist, he founded and chaired the Human Rights Information and Training Center in 1995, and was elected Vice-President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) in Paris in 2013. He began his career as a journalist and served as managing editor of Al-Ma'rifa magazine. He has authored works and research in politics, human rights and literature, and received several awards, including "Personality of the Year in Yemen" (2000).
