Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou

President, Cameroon National Youth Council

Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou is the President of the Cameroon National Youth Council and a Youth Peace Ambassador of ICESCO. She is a committed youth leader actively promoting peace, development, and digital transformation in Cameroon and beyond. 

Since 2018, she has served as Secretary-General of French-speaking Africa for the Afro-Arab Youth Council and Vice-Chair of UNESCO's Advisory Board for youth empowerment through media. She played a key role in the Major National Dialogue and is a member of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North-West and South-West regions. 

A Knight of the Cameroonian Order of Merit, she has earned numerous leadership awards. Fadimatou is also a cybersecurity expert with two master’s degrees in telecommunications and information systems. She is the founder of Felio Design and Expert Tracking, a consultant for global tech firms, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Peace and Development.
