CEO, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation

Jamal bin Huwaireb is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award (MBRKA).

He was granted advisory membership in each of the Advisory Board of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Sharjah, the Advisory Board of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the UAE University, the Arabic Language Advisory Council in the UAE, and the Advisory Council of the Zewail City of Science and Technology in Egypt. Moreover, he was appointed as a member of the Global Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, Oxford University, a member of the Board of Trustees of Al Falah University, a member of the Saudi Media Award Board in Saudi Arabia, and a member of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning - UIL (Permanent Committee) in Hamburg, Germany.

His Excellency contributed to strengthening the partnership among ministries, government agencies, and private institutions at the local level. Internationally, he has sought to expand the MBRF’s activities through partnerships with the most prominent knowledge institutions such as the University of Oxford, the German Goethe Institute, the Japanese Culture and Arts Foundation, the Frankfurt International Book Fair, the Nobel Foundation, and LinkedIn.

He is also a specialized Emirati historian and writer, with significant experience documenting the cultural and creative movement of Dubai, the UAE, and the GCC.
