Khadiga Alsharif
Child Protection and MHPSS Advisor, ChildFund International
Khadiga Alsharif is a community psychologist and a child protection professional with over 12 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Her skills and expertise include child rights, child protection, early childhood, higher education, offline and online child maltreatment, ending violence against children, and mental health and psychosocial support.
She currently serves as Child Protection and MHPSS Advisor at ChildFund International, working with 20 country offices in Africa, America, and Asia. Alsharif also serves as a university adjunct instructor of psychology at the American University in Dubai (AUD).
She also served as a consultant at UNICEF Gulf Area Office (GAO) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with the child protection unit in UNICEF Egypt, and with the child labor unit in the World Food Programme (WFP) Egypt.
Alsharif earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Community Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
