Mirna Arif is a seasoned business leader with 20+ years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She currently leads Microsoft’s operations across high-potential growth markets including Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria. Her focus: driving digital transformation, AI adoption, and inclusive economic growth in collaboration with governments and organizations.
Previously, she served as General Manager of Microsoft Egypt (2020–2025), where she led nationwide cloud adoption, strategic skilling initiatives, and public-private partnerships—earning her a spot on Forbes Middle East’s 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in 2024 and 2025.
Mirna’s career spans executive roles at Microsoft Dubai, GE Oil & Gas, and Emerson, and public leadership as Assistant Minister at Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum. She began her career at Schlumberger, where she held global leadership positions in marketing and technology.
