Widad Wahbi

Library Publications Officer, ICESCO

Widad Wahbi is a Moroccan Library Publications Officer at ICESCO's Translation and Publishing Center, working across publishing, library development, multilingual content and access to knowledge. An experienced journalist and former editor-in-chief, she has authored more than 4,000 articles in Arabic, French and English. She holds a Master's degree in Arabic–French–English Translation from the King Fahd School of Translation in Tangier (valedictorian, 2025), a Master's in International Business Law and a Bachelor's in Private Law. She is also a writer, visual artist and award-winning Arabic reader.
