Project Management Officer, UNDP - Iraq

Zainab Almashref is a project management officer at UNDP - Iraq office

She is a youth volunteer with UNDP on Youth Leadership Program (YLP) as a youth activist and communications specialist. She also volunteered at UNDP Iraq with the “Innovation for Development” project, and supported the drafting and testing of the first Iraqi local manual on design thinking by UNDP. She helped implement and develop an online platform on innovation and entrepreneurship, which will be launched soon by UNDP Iraq, creating the first virtual Iraqi ecosystem.

Zainab has been working with the UNDP Iraq for three years on multiple projects, including Innovation for Development, Job Matching, GIS System, E-Governance, MSMEs, and Anti-Corruption and Arbitration in Iraq.
