Aya Qari

Youth Representative, Saudi Arabia

Aya Qari is a Saudi international relations professional specializing in diplomacy and sustainable development. She currently works in Project Management at ICESCO's Director-General's Office in Rabat, where she coordinates multilateral initiatives and stakeholder communications. 

Previously, Aya contributed to environmental sustainability through the UN's internal Greening the Blue initiative and supported gender equality programs as an Operations Management Assistant at the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Indonesia. She also worked at the World Bank Energy Department in Washington, DC, conducting data analysis for the RISE initiative, which evaluates regulatory indicators for sustainable energy. 

Aya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Trilingual in Arabic, English, and French, she effectively bridges cultural and linguistic barriers. She has participated in high-level training programs, including the UN Youth Volunteer Workshop in Cairo and the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights Leader Training in Istanbul.
