ICESCO Youth Peace Ambassador

Sandy Salem is an innovator and accomplished medical student at Ain Shams University, an advocate for health, climate action, and youth empowerment. As an ICESCO Youth Peace Ambassador, climate change activist, and inventor of the SIMON device for deaf-mute individuals, she demonstrates a passion for innovation and social impact.  

Sandy’s advocacy journey began as Miss Eco Azerbaijan 2020 and has since evolved through roles in international youth negotiations, policy-writing committees, and impactful community projects.  

A published poet and creative artist, Sandy balances her academic pursuits with leadership roles, mental health advocacy inspired by her mother, and a vision to inspire change through compassion, innovation, and service.
