Wendy Kopp

Ms. Kopp had founded Teach For America in 1989, an unparalleled source of long-term leadership for expanding opportunity for children in the United States, and she led the development of Teach For All to be responsive to the initiative of aspiring social entrepreneurs around the world who were determined to adapt this approach in their own countries.

Now, the Teach For All network is comprised of partner organizations in 46 countries on six continents that are galvanizing their nation’s most promising future leaders to commit two years to teach in high-need communities and exert leadership throughout their lives to ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential.
