Vice Chancellor, Paris-Sorbonne University - Abu Dhabi
Eric Fouache is the Vice Chancellor of the Paris-Sorbonne University, Abu Dhabi and professor of physical geography and geoarchaeology at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. In addition He is now vice-president of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG) and a Senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France.
He researches many geographical issues in the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the Near and Middle East, and central Asia.
Eric Fouache has published two books as a single author and more than 100 scientific papers and book chapters, including more than 50 in international peer-reviewed journals. In 2000 and 2007, he received an award from the French “Société de Géographie” in Paris for his books.
