Brigadier Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi acts as the General Director of the Smart Services Department at Dubai Police. He was previously in charge of the IT sector at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. He has worked in numerous IT fields including systems administration, information security, PC support, and networking, and has implemented numerous strategic projects in the UAE such as e-passports, smart e-gates, kiosk machines, and facial and iris recognition systems. He received the Best Technical Officer award from the Ministry of the Interior in 2011 and was recognized as a distinguished government employee in the same year.
In addition, Brigadier Khalid lead Dubai Police to many local, regional and international achievements, notably the Best M-Government Service Award in the world in Safety and Security Category for the years (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), and the Award For Hamdan Bin Mohammed Program for Smart Government in the category, Best Government Application for the years (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) and Best Government Website for the years (2015, 2016). Additionally, lead Dubai Police to achieve the UAE IDEAS Award and the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Asian Human Capital Award in the year 2016.
Alongside his renowned achievements, Brigadier Khalid is a prime member in several Federal and Local Committees, which include the Higher Committee for new projects and technologies (10x), Dubai Smart City Board, ICT Infrastructure and the Committee for Smart Data Infrastructure for Dubai City. Additionally, a prime member in Dubai Police Committees which included the Higher Committee for Dubai Government Excellence program and the Police Board for Innovation and Creativity
