Nayla Al Khaja is the first female film producer in the United Arab Emirates. She is the CEO of D-SEVEN Motion Pictures.
Being the first UAE national woman to embark on such a career, Nayla received media attention and accolades from as far away as the Washington Post NHK and the BBC World.
In recognition of her achievements, Nayla has received numerous awards globally and across UAE including the Best Script Award in the Gulf International Film Festival 2010 for her script (MALAL), a film which won 1st place in the Muhr Emirati category in the Dubai International Film Festival in 2010.
