Beside his degrees in Engineering, Ali is AbuDhabi PolyTechnic Director. Ali is a fellow of Harvard Medical School and holds a Distinction degree in Executive MBA from Suffolk university in Boston. He has no less than 40 publications in conferences and peer reviewed journal in Human enhancements, Artificial devices and Cells engineering.
In UAEU, as an associate professor, Ali served as the mechanical engineering department chair and assistant dean for research and graduate studies.
Ali is serving as member in many boards in private, and government sectors, for example the emirates scientific council.
Ali has got patents for different designs for bioartificial liver systems and mechanical devices and has been awarded by the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid the UAE first 43 Emirati pioneers award and the selected among the 50 scientists below 40 years of age in innovation in the world economic forum.
Ali is heavily engaged in the WEF in the future councils, a community of world leading experts and innovators to provide bold visions for the 4th IR and micro manufacturing.
