Bassel is a Transport and Logistics professional with over 20 years of experience spanning different functions and sectors. He has working experience in several countries in the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
Bassel joined Agility in 2005 and has played a key role in driving the growth of the company globally. He assumed several roles covering corporate development, commercial, and general management. Since July 2013, Bassel leads Agility Abu Dhabi as its Chief Executive Officer. Agility Abu Dhabi has grown rapidly driven by its success in delivering a variety of complex supply chain solutions across different sectors.
Bassel has a Master’s in Business Administration from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communications Engineering, from the American University of Beirut. He is married and has two daughters.
