Dr. Cathy Garner is an expert in innovation, specializing in knowledge-based development for cities and communities.
She holds a number of advisory and non-executive roles both nationally and internationally, including the Centre for Ageing Better in London, the Scale-Up Institute of the UK, the World Capital Institute in Mexico, and the Council on Health Research for Development in Geneva.
As CEO of “Manchester: Knowledge Capital,” she established a major innovative city partnership for economic and environmental development and has recently been editing a book on “City Preparedness for the Climate Crisis.”
She is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and the Royal Society of Arts in the UK.
