Director of Policy Research Department, Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government
Dr. Fadi Salem is the Director of the Policy Research Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). He also leads the Center for Future Government Research in the MBRSG as a Senior Research Fellow and is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Dubai Policy Review journal.
During his tenure, he founded numerous high-impact global research programs, including the AI Governance Initiative, the Governance and Innovation Program, and the MENA Digital Government Program.
Earlier, he was a research associate with the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School (HKS); and a fellow with the LKY School of Public Policy (LKY SPP).
Fadi is a computer engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Oxford.
He was selected among the 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government worldwide (Apolitical). He serves as a fellow and member of several influential boards and international expert groups.
