Dr. Nabih Bedewi is Managing Director of Global EEE, a Washington DC-based non-profit that organizes and manages student projects throughout the world with a focus on education, energy, and the environment. He is also a member of the Executive Board of the International Solarcar Federation overseeing the MENA region. Prior to that, he held several professorial and research positions in a several universities including University of Maryland, Catholic University of America, and George Washington University.
Upon receiving his Ph.D. in 1986, Dr. Bedewi directed research in space systems and robotics at NASA. Later on, he moved his research direction to focus on automotive engineering and alternative energy vehicles.
During his 33-year professional career, Dr. Bedewi published over 200 papers and presented at numerous conferences. He holds a PhD (1986), MSc (1984) and BSc (1983) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and an MBA (2007) from California Coast University.
