Elen Cross is Head of Legal for NOMAC, providing high quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for production of electricity and desalinated water worldwide, with over 20 years of experience in law practice in both her native New Zealand and the UK. Before her role in NOMAC, Elen was the Executive Director of Assets at ACWA Power in Dubai, a developer, investor, co-owner and operator of a portfolio of power generation, renewable energy and desalinated water production plants in the MENA Region.
Her extensive work experience spans international law firms focusing on construction to in-house roles that deal primarily with energy and infrastructure. Her breadth of work exposure affords her a good understanding of commercial requirements within the different industries in the private sector.
Away from law, Elen is a certified personal trainer.
