Director, Energy Demand Side Director – Dubai Supreme Council of Energy
Faisal Ali Rashid is a UAE national and current Energy Demand Side Director at the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy. In his role, Faisal oversees the whole energy demand management spectrum of the emirate. Previously, he spent many years as project division manager in the oil and gas industry, and handling mega feed and EPD projects.
He has solid experience in energy management including supply, strategy and demand and has a strong background in process industrial plant including oil & gas, power and water generation process, material handling process and glass manufacturing process.
Faisal holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Dayton, Ohio University and is a certified Project Management Professional. Additionally, he has an LSE professional certificate in the area of public energy policymaking and is a board member in Emirates Green Building Council.
