Founder of Isoquanta and Research Fellow, Harvard Kennedy School of Government
Fernando Yu is a researcher in Economic Development at Harvard's Center for International Development, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics, and Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He was also a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of San Andrés.
His main areas of research are International Macroeconomics, Trade, and Development. His current work focuses on export strategies for economic diversification in terms of sectoral output and the adoption of new technologies.
Fernando is the founder of Isoquanta, a consulting firm working at the intersection of data science and economics to provide insights for policymakers worldwide. Among various projects, Isoquanta has helped design the economic development plan for the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previously, he also worked at the Fiscal Affairs Department at the International Monetary Fund and as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank.
