Founder of the Slingshot Framework
Born in Budapest, Gabor Burt holds a BA in Psychology from Amherst College as well as an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Over the past decade, Gabor has gained international recognition in the management world as a pioneer in the strategic perspective of “defying conventional wisdom”, and a leading expert on Blue Ocean Strategy, a framework that transforms unconventional ideas into successful strategies. He is actively involved in shaping strategy for a diverse group of international clients, from Fortune 500 firms to successful start-ups, as well as in the application of Blue Ocean Strategy and the principles of “defying conventional wisdom” through his own initiatives.
Gabor has participated in high-profile events including delivering the opening presentation at Global Marketing Forum, and designing and hosting the Forum for Partnership of the Americas, a gathering of business and government leaders from across the Western Hemisphere.
Additionally, Gabor is a board member of the Global Innovation Institute, and works with executive teams of multinationals, SMEs, government agencies, NGOs and start-ups.
