Former Minister of Labor and Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan
H.E. Tamara Duisenova served as Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan for two terms (2013-2014 & 2017-2018). She also served as the Minister of Healthcare and Social Development during (2014-2017).
She currently leads the Workforce Development Centre established by the Government of Kazakhstan.
Throughout her professional career, H.E. Tamara has advocated social and labor issues and made significant contributions to policymaking. She has been utilizing her extensive experience to lead large-scale digitalization initiatives in the public sector as well as promote development of an effective labor market, quality improvement of labor resources, social and pension benefits, and employment generation.
For her exemplary service to the nation, she was awarded with the Order of Kurmet (2010) and the Order of Parasat (2016) by the President of Kazakhstan. H.E. Tamara holds a Ph.D. in Economics.
