Karim Philippe Saad’s work includes producing short documentaries and VR experiences. His passion for strong visuals helped him advance in his career, and in 2013, Karim began exploring virtual reality filmmaking, which marked a turning point in his professional life.
In 2014, Karim established Giga Works in Dubai, a virtual reality (VR) film studio offering 360º content capture, storytelling, VR experiences, and customized GigaBox cardboards.
Karim made his debut in Lebanon in the TV production industry, where he was primarily responsible for the production of TV shows, commercials, and promotional films. He is also a TEDx speaker and delivers talks on events and TVs about the future of education, focusing on Smart Education through Virtual Reality Technology.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He then went to Paris to pursue specialized studies in 16mm film editing, sound, and image.
