As the co-founder and chairwoman of the International Robotics Academy, Lama Sha’sha’a concentrates on equipping youth with the digital fluency essential for the modern era.
Lama, an IMD Business School fellow and a Fortune 2022-US Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership alumna, spearheads digital transformation and leadership in the digital age. She was honored with the UNCTAD Empretec Women in Businesses Silver Award in 2018. Lama’s journey also includes her representation at the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit hosted at Stanford University, personally nominated by former President Obama.
She was featured on TED in Arabic (Qatar), Jordanian TV, and UN Arabic Radio, where she had a profound influence.
She is a board member with the BDC-Business Development Center, and central to her mission are the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG #4 for Quality Education, SDG #8 for Fostering Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG #9 for Propelling Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG #10 dedicated to Reducing Inequality.
