Over the last 20 years, Laurent has focused on managing large international projects in sectors such as export-driven growth, innovation, sustainability, new technologies, business environment, labor markets, and access to finance.
He has worked closely with governments and the European Commission to create supportive frameworks for research, education, economy, export, finance, and innovation to drive sustainable growth in both European and export markets (Asia and Latin America). His efforts have supported competitiveness in emerging fields, including digital activities (artificial intelligence, 5G, cybersecurity), Industry 4.0, new energy, and green technologies.
Laurent has developed extensive expertise in proposing holistic ecosystem policies to strengthen the overall innovation framework at national and regional levels, focusing on access to finance and skills. He has successfully led numerous EU projects, such as the SME Performance Review, the BlueInvest platform, and EU Gateway to Asia, along with various other strategic European and national initiatives.
