Meriem Bellizim is the Business Development Senior Manager at ACWA Power, with a focus on renewable technologies. Her role has contributed to the achievement of world records such as the world’s largest renewable project investment of USD 4.3 billion at the lowest tariff (Noor Energy 1 Hybrid CSP/PV project 950MW with 700MW CSP & 250MW PV), and the first IPP framework in Dubai as the largest single PV plant and lowest PV tariff in 2014 (DEWA Phase II 200MW PV).
Meriem has managed and supported the development of many other renewable projects of different technologies (wind, PV, CSP, ISCC) developed by ACWA Power in the MENA region. She was awarded the Women in renewables of the Year 2019 Award by the Global Solar & Energy Storage and WIRA. Additionally, Meriem is a current member of the 100 Future Energy Leaders (FEL 100) Program hosted by the World Energy Council.
