Prince Agbata is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Coliba Recycling Services – Ghana, a tech-driven company that puts recycling services at the user's fingertips while addressing the plastic waste challenge in Ghana in a sustainable manner. He holds a first-class degree in Information Technology from Ghana Technology University College and a post-graduate in Global Environmental Studies from the University of Oslo. He is an Acumen Fellow and a winner of the 2019 Entrepreneurial Award by Unilever and the University of Cambridge.
His company Coliba has successfully rolled out Ghana’s first-ever plastic segregation, recovery, and recycling program on a large scale. Prince is a 2018 One Young World Ambassador and AUDI Environmental Foundation respectively. Prior to starting Coliba in 2017, he worked as a software developer with an AI research lab in his university and served as the Program Director for IDEA Africa until 2015.
