Professor of Practice in AI, King's College London
Sana Khareghani is a Professor of Practice in AI at King's College London and Ambassador for Responsible AI UK, a £35 million grant initiative focused on seeding and connecting the international ecosystem for responsible AI research and innovation.
With a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sana brings over 20 years of experience in technology and business across both private and public sectors.
She has worked as a software engineer in large corporations and start-ups, as a management consultant advising senior officials throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East, and in the UK government as the inaugural Head of the UK Government Office for AI. In this role, she led the team responsible for publishing the UK's National AI Strategy and investing nearly £1 billion in the UK AI ecosystem.
