With over 20 years of experience in the field of learning and development, Riana De Bruyn has built a distinguished career dedicated to advancing education and professional growth. She currently serves as the Group Head for Learning Governance, Insight, and Innovation at Standard Bank Africa.
At Standard Bank, Riana has been an integral part of the Leadership Development team for over thirteen years. Starting as a Senior Leadership Designer, she progressed into roles in Learning Governance, Learning Innovation, and Data Analytics. In her current position, she oversees both Learning Governance and Learning Insights for the Group. Her responsibilities include analyzing the evolving demands of the workforce to ensure the organization remains future-ready. This involves leveraging data to assess workforce readiness based on skillsets.
Beyond her professional roles, Riana has served on several governing bodies and is currently a member of the Banking Association of South Africa (BASA) committee on Skills Development.
