Ridah Sabouni is Managing Director in the MENA region for the clean energy consultancy, Energetics, leading the Dubai office since 2015. Prior to that, he was in the company HQ in Washington DC. He is a leading global expert on the topic of industrial energy efficiency with over 12 years of experience supporting the development of a variety of clean energy technologies, programs, and best practices. In the US, he worked with the Department of Energy to develop two national industrial energy efficiency programs.
His technical areas of expertise include clean energy R&D program support, energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, smart grid, energy management systems, LED lighting, power electronics, industrial technologies, materials science, solar PV, energy storage, energy and innovation policy, energy M&V, sustainable transportation, and demand side management.
Ridah has BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
