Ron Young is the founder of Knowledge Associates International, an international group of management consulting companies with a headquarters in Cambridge, UK. He is a leading international expert in knowledge and innovation management, specializing in knowledge-driven results for organizations, and has contributed to the production of the UK Government White Paper “UK Competitiveness in the Knowledge Driven Economy”.
Ron regularly provides keynote presentations and master classes at leading international conferences around the world. He chaired the BSI Knowledge Management Standards Committee, lecturers on the Global Knowledge Economy and teaches Knowledge Asset Management Methodology at leading universities. He provides consulting for the UN, World Bank, European Commission, and the inter-governmental Asian Productivity Organization (APO)
He specializes in developing policies, governance models, standards, knowledge strategies, knowledge systems and knowledge-driven platforms, and was lead consultant for the European Commission 3 Million euro ‘Know-Net’ and ‘LEVER’ collaborative research projects.
