Sarah Al Jarman is one of the few leading Emirati females in the Media Industry in the UAE. Al Jarman graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a BA in Mass Communications and a Masters degree MA in Communications and Management from Sorbonne University. Working in DMI the state run media organization of Dubai Government. The Dubai Government media group, Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), comprises a number of print, radio and TV channels includes: Dubai TV, Sama Dubai TV, Al Bayan newspaper, Dubai One TV, Dubai Sports TV, Dubai Racing TV, Noor Dubai TV ,Noor Radio, Emarat Al Youm newspaper, Emirates 24|7 , and Masar Printing Press.
Al Jarman served as Channel Manager of Dubai One TV for 5 years and later appointed as Director of General Channels in DMI which include Dubai One TV and Dubai TV the main Arabic leading TV network in Dubai. Al Jarman served as a member of jury in the International I Emmys awards and a board member of CineME a private film investment fund in the UAE. Al Jarman is also a supporter for children humanitarian causes, she serves as a sponsor and fundraiser for Save the Children nonprofit organization.
