Sherif Amer presents the Yahduth fi Masr (Happening in Egypt) program, which has completed its eleventh year and is considered one of the main programs on MBC Masr, as well as one of the most-watched and influential Egyptian public affairs programs.
Sherif's media career spans more than three decades, during which he has built a unique rapport with the Egyptian public.
He began his career by combining journalistic work in major Egyptian press institutions with TV presentation and was selected as part of the first crew for Nile International, the first Egyptian channel in English. His career path also included experiences in the United States and on Egypt’s Al Hayat Channel, where he hosted Al Hayat Al Youm, a top-viewed program for eight consecutive years.
Throughout his career, Sherif has interviewed several presidents, leaders, and international officials, as well as prominent stars in the fields of arts, acting, and culture. His programs have received local and regional awards.
