Vice President for Business Development, Middle East and Africa – Zero Mass Water
Vahid Fotuhi is Vice President for Business Development, Middle East and Africa at Zero Mass Water, responsible for securing partnerships with government and corporate entities.
Prior to this, Vahid was Managing Director at Access Power and during his six years there, he originated, developed and helped secured financing for solar and wind power projects in 12 countries. From 2009 until 2012, he was the Regional Director for BP Solar Middle East and prior to that, he worked in North Africa where he was in charge of Government Affairs for BP’s USD 2.4bn Algeria division. Vahid is the Founder of the Middle East Solar Industry Association, the largest and most active solar trade organization in the Middle East.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
