Dr. Ali Al-Kaabi is the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs and Enrollment at UAE University. He previously worked as acting Dean and Vice Dean of the College of Education and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Support between 2009-2015. Dr AlKaabi held faculty position at the College of Education since 2005. He is the General Coordinator of the “UNESCO-Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Prize for Outstanding Practice and Performance in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Teachers”. He is the Chair of Advisory Council of RSEP and a member of the Advisory Council of Arabic Language. He is a member of the National Commission of Culture and Education, and member of the State Council ‘Information for All Program’ (IFAP) under the auspices of UNESCO.
Al-Kaabi’s scientific publications include “Factors Influencing Teacher Attrition in the UAE”, “Privatization of Education, Why?”, and “Borrowing Educational Systems”.
Dr. Al-Kaabi participated in many conferences and seminars, locally and internationally. He has also received various professional qualifications, including: Certified Arbitrator for the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and a Certificate in Quality Management in Higher Education Institutions
