Dr. Ali Ahmed Alghafli is Vice-Dean at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, UAE University (UAEU). He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, in International Relations and Comparative Politics. Dr. Alghafli holds an M.A. from Ohio State University, in Comparative Politics (Western Democracies), and B.A. from the United Arab Emirates University, in Political Science and Public Administration.
Dr. Ali Alghafli is a faculty member in the Government and Society Department, at the UAE University, and was Associate Dean at College of Humanities and Social Sciences (2003-2007), and chair of the Political Science Department (2002-2012).
