Armen Gharabegian is the Founder and CEO of ShadeCraft Robotics, which is a California-based start-up whose mission is to improve human life outdoors through robotics and AI-integration.
In 2017, ShadeCraft announced and debuted its first product, SUNFLOWER, which was recently showcased at GITEX. SUNFLOWER is the world’s first robotic shading system that tracks the sun for solar energy, connects to the IoT and smart home ecosystem, and is AI-integrated with voice activation and machine-learning.
Armen has over 20 years of experience in production, industrial design, and product development. He is an accomplished inventor, entrepreneur, and industrial designer dedicated to creating transformative products that are both revolutionary and innovative. He is also an author and a speaker on intelligence design, biomimicry, and robotics.
Armen has BS and MS degrees in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he was also a faculty member for several years.
