Badr Al Olama is Head of Aerospace and Defense at Mubadala Investment Company, a strategic investor in high-tech manufacturing and integrated industrial services.
As former Chief Executive of Strata, Badr was instrumental in positioning Mubadala’s aero structure business as a global tier-one supplier to both Airbus and Boeing, forging partnerships with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers, and empowering young Emiratis to make up over half of Strata’s workforce.
Nominated as a Young Global Leader for the Middle East and North Africa region by the World Economic Forum, Badr heads the organizing committee for the world's first Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit, a joint initiative between the UAE government and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization that aims to transform and shape the future of manufacturing
Badr started his career as an advocate and legal consultant at Baker & McKenzie Habib Al-Mulla, formerly known as Habib Al Mulla & Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in Shari’a and Law from the UAE University (2002), and an LL.M degree from Harvard Law School (2005).
