Head of Solar Research - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MBR) Solar Park
Dr. Aaesha Alnuaimi is Sr. Researcher and the Head of solar research in Dubai Electricity and Water Authority R&D center in MBR Solar Park. She is leading the research projects related to solar technologies development and validation in desert harsh conditions. Dr. Aaesha Alnuaimi holds a PhD and M.Sc in Microsystem Engineering from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (UAE) in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).
Throughout her career, Dr. Aaesha received ample recognition for her work in the form of awards and honors such as the young Emirati researcher prize by the national research foundation, Sheikh Rashid Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement, the UAE Awards for the Advancement of Post-Graduate Education in the energy field, and Woman in solar of the year 2019 by Middle East Solar Industry Association. She has co-authored more than 30 conference proceedings and scientific journal papers in ranked journals and international conferences
