Dr. Cathy Mulligan is a visiting lecturer at Imperial College Business School and the founder of the Sustainable Society Digital Collective.
She is an interdisciplinary researcher whose main area of focus is digital sustainable development. She combines real-world expertise in senior leadership positions with teaching and research.
She has published seven books on digital technologies, multiple research papers, and acquired several patents.
Dr. Cathy has a lifetime research grant portfolio of £6.1 million, covering research projects in India, Malaysia, the EU, Australia, and the UK on digital sustainability.
She completed her Master’s in Engineering for Sustainable Development and her Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge. She has been an expert at the World Economic Forum for over five years and was a member of the United Nations Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation in 2018/2019.
