Gained more than 24 years of marketing, business development and international sales management experience. He worked as a commercially-focused executive in the field of pharmaceuticals, e-business, digital learning and training for global companies like Baxter, B. Braun Melsungen, and Clinical Technologies (Clintec). Dr. Detlef studied chemistry at the University of Bonn/Germany and holds a doctorate in Natural Science.
Founded DeBoSys-New Business Manufacturing/Germany 10 years ago. His enterprise specialises in the development and implementation of new business models and the distribution of innovative knowledge solutions, both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Detlef was Managing Director of Wiley & Sons/CrossKnowledge GmbH in Germany, one of the global leaders in cloud-based distance learning solutions. With his true entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, Dr. Detlef is currently ramping up platform-assisted learning and knowledge solutions (e.g. Zayed Knowledge Portal) in the Middle East/UAE in very close collaboration with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation and JTM Professional and Management Development Training LLC. As an Executive Director and First Advisor to His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, he is particularly keen on helping client organisations develop vital competencies and skills in the digital age.
