Dubai-based certified translator Hazem Ibrahim currently holds the position of Interpreter at Asharq Business News Channel, news organization.
Prior to joining Asharq, Hazem served for eight years as Interpreter and TV Reports Writer at CNBC Arabia TV. He also served as the Secretary General for the Syrian National Council for Disability Affairs and has translated several books and hundreds of published reports and articles. He currently sits on the editorial board of Harvard Business Review Arabic and serves as its main translator.
Hazem has a BA in English Literature from Damascus University. He also studied Intercultural Communications at California State University–Sacramento on the USA-sponsored Fulbright Scholarship.
Due to the nature of his work, Hazem developed a solid background in economics, financials, business, investment banking, technology and politics.
